Forgiveness and Mercy: The Highest Form of Love

Jesus was born to a world that was struggling and yes in so many ways a world full of sin. Today in modern times the world is still struggling.  What Jesus came here to do was show us The Way to live our life.  This Way is rooted in love and forgiveness.  The hope he carried for all of us was to turn our hearts away from fear (sin) and step into love in all that we say, see, hear and do.  In doing so a new earth would be created one in which we all choose love.  Jesus came here for everyone. And this new testament is rooted in love, forgiveness and the way to live life bringing our hearts closer to God. 

Jesus’ last words on the cross were Father forgive them for they know not what they do” and his parting commandment was, “to love one another as I have loved you”  In his final moments he was radiating love into the cosmos.  

These parting words, forgiveness and love were woven into Jesus’ ministry. 

Forgiveness is one of the highest forms of love and the fastest way to clear karma.  Karma is created when we act out of fear instead of love. Anything that we do to another that comes from the spectrum of fear.  The broad range of fear being greed, jealousy, desperation, unworthiness, hatred, anger, etc  Anything that doesn’t fall within the category of love creates karma.

Karma is not a heavy debt but rather it’s our actions born of fear that have consequences in our lives and in the lives of others.

When we are in a balanced and connected state we have bridges of love between our souls where love flows with great ease.  Our souls are always in unity energy, the energy of love, even if our minds are not.

Mercy is that energy that unchains our fears. Mercy sets us free with so much ease and grace from the Creator.

There is nothing like forgiveness to wash our energy clean and to help us begin anew again. 

Being in the energy of forgiveness provides us with so much relief.  It helps us to wash away and purify the past and move forward in life with a renewed sense of direction, clarity and purpose.

Fear, regret, shame, selfishness, and anger creates blocks to our heart.  The key to releasing these is forgiveness allowing us to open our hearts and let love flow once again.

Fear is our mind’s way to protect us.  But when we give in to fear, to our mind, we no longer are able to live from our heart and the heart is the home where Jesus lives within us.  The heart is the connection to our soul, our soul’s purpose and what our true calling is here on earth.  It is our True North and guiding light.

If we allow fear to take control it casts a shadow on all that we think, say, feel and do.  We begin to vibrate at a much lower level then if we were to lead with our heart and with love, a much higher frequency and path of light to follow in life.

If you have been hurt in life or hurt someone forgiveness does not mean that the action was okay.  When you forgive it doesn’t matter if the other person forgives you because on your end the karma is wiped clean.  So forgiveness is really an act of self love so that your heart can open and allow the high frequency of love to flow again.  Forgiving sets you free it is not really about the other person at all!

No one is perfect and all of us have struggles but as long as we live on earth forgiveness needs to constantly be flowing and a part of our life.

Forgiveness is what is going to protect our future because if we keep entering into an eye for an eye energy,  Ghandi said, “The whole world will be blind”  

A prayer for you…..

Beloved Creator, I come before you today asking that you hold me in the depths of your protection and unwavering forgiveness. Help me to turn my gaze and the eyes of my heart towards you our Shepard of love, mercy, and forgiveness.  Guide me in all things leading me always back home to your heart deep within my being.  Give me the grace to humbly accept forgiveness for myself, for those I have trespassed and those who have trespassed me.  Clearing all places within my being and healing them with your divine mercy so I may continue to walk in your light and love and share my light and love with all those who come into my life.  And so it is.  Amen.
