The Kingdom is Within: We Are Called To A Deeper Relationship With God

I was raised Irish Catholic with a specific set of beliefs, morals and how I was to live my life according to the Catholic church learned through my catechism.  I went to catholic grade school, attended mass, received my first communion and confessed my sins. In my religion class learning the catechism was lead by my teacher who would ask a question and all of us would answer i.e. Who made the world? God made the world, etc.  Basically a Q&A. I followed the set of ideologies and practiced my faith the way I was taught.

Each faith, religion or spiritual practice has its own set of ideologies. Beliefs and practices on worship can vary from place to place.  What I wanted to share with you is what worship means through the eyes of the Creator.

The Creator has said the idea of bowing down to worship me needs to change.

Worship does not mean to bow down before God but rather true worship means to become one with God.  To align our soul with the Holy Spirit within us.  The Source of love and light from which we were all created.

So what does it mean to become one with the Creator? It means allowing for God’s spirit to work through us and stand in acceptance of God’s will for us.  It means co-regulating our life with the Creator

The Creator has said in channel do not look up in the sky to find me I am deep within your being.

I remember as a child looking up in the sky, puzzled and wondering where exactly in the sky is heaven?

In the Gospel of Luke 17:21 the Pharisees were questioning Jesus and one of the questions they asked is when is the kingdom of God coming and Jesus replied the ‘kingdom is within you’.  This kingdom that Jeshua was talking about is the core foundation of my practice . The divine connection to the Creator within us.  This soul to soul connection is something we all have access to.

Living in alignment with God’s Will does not call us to bow down and worship God rather it calls us to a lifelong partnership.  Allowing the Creator to enter into our story everyday and allowing for Its will to unfold within our soul.

So how do we allow the Creator to enter into our story and develop a lifelong partnership?  We do so by making a sacred appointment daily with the Creator. A time set aside just for God.  Sitting in a quiet place, placing our hands on our heart and setting the intention to allow the Sacred Spirit to move through us and provide us with all we need for the day.  We do this in the silence of our heart because God is able to see right through our being and has the highest and best solution for anything we may be facing in our life.

Nurturing this daily relationship with Source always leads us to a deeper acceptance of who we are and to create a life of purpose, joy, peace, and ease. If we wish for the Creator to respond to our needs then spending time daily allows for the Spirit to work in us and through us for our highest good.

It means aligning our will, free will, with the Divines will and allowing the Holy Spirit’s blessings, prayers and miracles to work in our life.  This WAY of living will lead us to a life of peace, love and joy.  When our will and Divine’s will is aligned blessings can flow through our heart more easily.

The Creator is inviting us to a more personal way to relate to its divinity.   True worship begins with a personal relationship with God within and this relationship is to be shared in community.

It matters not whether you use the word Creator, Source, Holy Spirit, God or Divine.  It is all the same.  It is the source of love and light from which we were created and that

love and light has never left us.  We just need to begin to learn how to access this beautiful spirit within us for all our needs.

The Creator has said that we are made in the image of love itself

My friends the access to the kingdom and church lies within you 💜

Love

Barbara
